Dr. Louisa Lurkis, Ph.D.
Dr. Lurkis has been a licensed psychologist for over 20 years and received her Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. She has been conducting psychological evaluations for immigration cases for over 20 years and also teaches and supervises other licensed mental health professionals.

Our team
Dr. Lurkis and the staff at Ray of Light have conducted hundreds of psychological evaluations across a wide range of immigration cases. We are also a training site in trauma treatment and assessment, working with individuals, children, and families.
